Dream EVO
Because I love fantasizing about spending my money and I was bored I created my dream build for my Evo X. (and I need to post to get access to the for sale page). This is everything off the top of my head I could think of.
Dream Car Build
with my 2011 Evo X GSR
Dream Engine Build:
-2.2L Bore with H Beam con rods, polished crank, race bearings
-Darton Sleeved Block
-Ported and Polished Head with +1mm valves and upgraded springs and cams
-Tubular Exhaust Manifold
-Individual Throttle Body system
-FP Red with External Wastegate
-Tial BOV
-Full AMS piping and intercooler
-1300 Injectors
-Catch can with rerouting and high pressure lines/cooling
-AMS Fuel Rail
-Dual 255 fuel pumps
Dream Drivetrain:
-Jacks Transmission upgraded final drive version
-Jacks upgraded T-case
Dream Aero:
-carbon fiber front wind splinter
-full underbody diffuser
-carbon fiber duckbill trunk
-carbon fiber double decker spoiler
-CF canards
Dream Lightweighting/Design:
-carbon fiber roof
-carbon fiber hood
-carbon fiber front fenders
-carbon fiber doors and door panels
-Brembo lightweight 2 piece rotors
-VIS Racing rear bumper
-Akro Ti Exhaust
-trunk insulation and rear seat delete
Dream Wheels/Tires/Suspension/Anything Else:

Take good care of the car and save your money. It's not a dream it's easily a reality if you want it to be.
in 20 years it will probably be illegal to manufacture a new car that is manually operated and that has a gasoline engine, nothing more mod friendly or as good of s platform is going to come out so might as well keep the evo and build it one small step at a time!

It'll just be a different ball game then, but you'll still have (in 20 years) wheels on the ground, suspension holding those wheels, and a way of speeding up and slowing down.
