Tachometer shift light install help!!!!

I got a defi tacho and shift light, been researching and its confusing where to get the tacho rpm signal. Any help from someone who did it succesfully?

I don't think our car has a tach signal since its can-bus. But you can tap into ECU pin #4 which is the number 1 ignition coil.
