So I'm moving to Newport News some where around the end of summer beginning of fall. Some questions regarding Virginia state inspections and modified evos. I know they don't do the exhaust test down there but what about cat delete pipe do they do a visual inspection of the under car for cats? How are the cops with loud exhausts? Other things I should know about?

 

Hey all the evo guys in this area are on the fb page va beach evo. But to answer your questions no visual test or even emissions/smog. I know plenty of guys with test pipe/ open dumps.

If you register your car here you have to have a cat a test pipe will fail state inspection.
Exhaust if its super loud you will get a ticket!!! Most cops are pretty chill just stay away from va beach area, for the most part as long as your not being a honda and revving and being dumb most leave you alone.
