Mine does too, for some people. It appears most people don't know what it is and it blends in rank & file with every other Mazda 3, Lancer, Accord, Corolla & F150.... But the people that recognize what it is, will snap their necks staring at it. I get compliments, waves, and thumbs up too. Very rare where I am to see an Evo. Mine is black, so it's not a bright colour. Usually dirty from my long daily commute and it's wingless and not too low, exhaust relatively quiet. So it's not flashy by any means. But some people still spot it out!

 

Definitely a head turner. Just last week had a guy yell "Nice Evo!" while he was walking down the street downtown.
