Cobb is ok if your gonna tune it on your own. Or you can get ecuflssh for 25 bucks and tune your self. Imo cobb is a waste of money either way. Because ecuflash is 25 bucks. And any tuner can tune ecuflash

Check plugs, coils, knock sensor readings.

clean your maf and check for boost leaks too

When you decide what tuner to work with, they will let you know what minor parts you would need if you were going to e-tune with them. Some of them even sell those bits directly to make it easy. Most don't require a Cobb AP to tune an EVO, actually most prefer not to use one.

RPM issue fixed with a pro tune. Car had tones of mods with a stock tune smh.
