Hard to E tune?
Hard to E tune?
Hello
How hard is it to etune a lightly modded evo x? is it as simple as just installing the map that the e tuner give you onto your car with a tatrix cable and laptop?

It's a back and forth sort of thing, so you need to be a bit patient. When they get you going you send them a log, they put together a base tune, then they send it back, and have you log, they tweak the tune etc. It goes back and forth. So maybe you get a solid one banged out in a couple weeks, maybe it takes a month to get it fully baked. I think wtftuned has a pretty fast turnaround, but it does take some back and forth to get done.
A pro-tune at a local shop if you have a great one near you, can be done in a day due to leveraging a dyno. But don't go to someone you think is good, know they are good or go e-tune with a known good tuner.
