Ok, if I drive hard for quite a long time, like over 45min spirited driving, all of a sudden car gets in safe mode with every engine and service like turning on, abs, 4wd, engine service and so on......it stay like this for about 2 minutes, than back to normal......what should I look at? Tune too aggressive? Low battery voltage?

 

Need more info on the car.... GSR MR mods ect

 

Is it the famous transmission overheating problem? What happen when sst overheat? Car fully stock, just exhaust and tune. Sst Mr.

 

IT SURE IS!!! There are things that you can do to help with this however you have to spend some good money to do so!

Also make sure your tune is not pushing more than about 350-400tq MAX b/c that ALL the trans can take with stock clutches in it. also if you are going to beat on the car you must do the following with the SST

no WOPs until the trans temp is around 120
no Launches until the trans temp is around 170
Make sure the car is in sport of S-sport if you are going to drive like hell (i always drive my car in S-Sport manual)
If you have a COBB APv3 make sure your tuner open source tuned the SST for the added power.
