Clutch Grabbing Real High

Just picked up a 2011 Evo Gsr with 25k miles on it. I've had other stick cars before but with this low miles, should the clutch grabbing point be that high? It grabs after half way and seems like its either engaged or grabbing. I feel like there not much room to play with.
Is this a common thing in Evo x's?

And also going into 3rd seems rough.

Anything I should be worried about?

My clutch engages pretty high and it was like that when I bought it with 17k on it. Now it has 33k and it's still the same. I'm sure I've read it's actually normal on here somewhere.

You can asjust the release point under dash. At the length of the master cylinder push rod.

As.for the notchness of the 3rd gear. Its likely soon gonna grind. Time for a synchro rebuild

Evo X with 23k here. My clutch has been grabbing high since I bought it at 10k miles. Same with the 3rd gear feel. It is a bit notchy when cold but is butter smooth when the tranny is warmed up, which can take quite a while if it is cold outside.

I haven't felt any difference in 3rd gear shift feel between the OEM fluid and the Redline cocktail, FWIW. It has always been notchy cold.

The clutch master is not adjustable on the stock Evo X plastic master. It is on the 8/9 master, and definitely can make the X adjustable if you swap the 8/9 CMC. But if you have the stock plastic CMC the X comes with, you can't do anything but yell at it lol

The high engagement is normal on these cars, or just about any other Mitsubishi. Which is good, allows for plenty of room for the clutch slave to extend and disengage the clutch fully.

3rd being notchy and eventually locking out at high RPM is somewhat 'normal' as the miles rack on. I had mine refreshened and it shifts beautiful in any gear at any RPM, hot or cold.
