Potential Evo X Purchase - Need some guidance

Hey all, looking at a 2013 GSR with 25k on the odometer. From the pictures, the car looks immaculate.

From what I've read, having an intake on these cars without a tune can be bad for business. Other than seeing a COBB unit in the car, is there any other indicator of the car having a tune?

The car is at a dealer, and they obviously have no idea.

I'll attached a couple engine bay shots. As you can see, it has an aftermarket UPIC, as well. If you can spot any other mods or can state the brand, I'd very much appreciate it.

Thanks again.

That's a stock MAF assembly, so no maf scaling needed.

How much are they asking for it? Does it have an aftermarket exhaust? Aftermarket IC? See if they will buy you an OEM intake if you don't want a tune on it.

It still has the stock OEM MAF assembly, no need to tune for that specifically.

No clue on the exhaust. They're asking $27.5, I'm going to offers $25k and see where it takes me.

I Don't mind having the intake, as posted above with the stock MAF I should(?) Be okay. If I do buy it, 6 months from now everything but the motor will be replaced, anyhow.

Heya Razor, thank you for the veteran eye. Getting into a new platform always has a bit of a learning curve.

Any pieces of advice you can offer for the test drove appreciate.

Thanks agai.

PM sent.. and I also noticed that

if they only did the upper pipe for the intercooler.. then they most likely didn't do the full intercooler.

plus, the OEM boost solenoids look to still be setup from the factory.. so it could have had some work.. but no tune.

Good Luck...

Thanks @gsrlXevo , reply incoming.

What do you all think about the list price of $27.5k, with goal of $25k or so. As a note, I'll only consider $25k if the car is pristine and I don't feel like it was modded excessively without a tune etc.

Thanks again!

I'm just gonna leave my two cents on the whole price thing. I also have a 2013 GSR and mine had 17k when I bought it last year. They asked for $32 and I got it down to $25k with tax and title. Just give them a small number and work your way up if they start to work their way down.

When I purchased mine a few months ago I could not get any dealership to budge at all. 1 dealer in Chicago had a "new" 2015 still in their showroom and would not come off 1k.
