Oil Change

2014 Evo x best Oil change type? Mobile 1? Also oil capacity needed with oil filter change.

You being from Sactown, I’d run a 10W30 or 0W40. Mobil1 is good. So is Castrol Edge, Amsoil and Redline. I’ve been running Amsoil for years with great results.

For filters, Mitsu Oem or Mobil1 filters.

Capacity is 5.0 quarts approximately to include what’s needed in the filter. Grab the five Quart Jug of your choice.

Correction. Capacity is closer to 4.5 or 4.6 quarts. The rest can fill you filter before wrenching it on.

This. My car always seems to take exactly this much and that gets it to just a hair under the full line.

I switched over to Motul - same for my Porsche, screw mobil 1 garbage ^_^

No way, mobil one is the only choice. I'm personally a fan of 5W30

Mobile 1 or Amsoil and OEM filter or WIX filter. I personally user Mobile 1 and a Wix filter on my 2015

Water (distilled is better, but not a huge difference), and delete the filter. Works best if you completely fill the motor as well.
