Diaqueen now unavailable!!
Being the Diaqueen LSD SAE90 is the only oil recommended for our T-Case and Diff this is bad news. I contacted both Shep and Jacks and there is no 100% solution. Motul 90PA is the next best thing but neither shop has tested it.
"Sorry but Mitsubishi has just been notified by the U.S. Government that they can no longer sell the GL5 they make due to too high levels of toxic materials. All units have been recalled back and there has been a cease and desist from selling it."

As someone who uses only OEM fluids for the tc, trans, and diff, this is crappy news. Luckily, there are companies like Redline who have our backs. It may not be the same stuff, but it's GL-5 and it works well. TRE recommends this if not using OEM. The good news is that you can use this in your TC and rear diff.

I'd like to see some more sources for this info.
*edit*
Found it:
----
Subject: URGENT Stop-Sale on Part# MZ320345 LSD Gear Oil
On December 19, 2017, MMNA was notified by JX Nippon Oil & Energy Corporation that LSD Gear Oil GL-5 SAE 90 (Part# MZ320345) does not comply with the EPA’s Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA).

Terrific.

My advise is to go to your local dealership and try and get some NOW. I went yesterday and they sold me 2qts. Hopefully by my next change Mitsubishi will have figured this out.

You can try anything you want in there but I guarantee there is no company or "tuner" shop anywhere that knows more about these drive trains than Jacks or Shep. They both 100% recommend you don't put ANYTHING in there but OEM. I take there advise WAY before anyone else.

I think only solution = make Canadian friends and have them ship it over
