Evo X wing on 2010 Mazda 3

Okay so mazda has some pretty crappy spoilers, and I was looking to put an Evo x spoiler on my 2010 Mazda 3. my trunk is 47.5". Would an Evo X spoiler even fit my car?

Was more hoping someone could tell me the width of a Lancer's trunk, or the overall distance between bolts of either an Evo X or VIII spoiler, so I could know before ordering either of them if my trunk was too small.

It won't gain you anything, will not look 'right' and will impact future resale. Upside here?

I'm just looking for the measurements of either the spoiler or trunk, whether I get the spoiler or not is undecided. Right now I'm more just looking at it as "is it possible". I plan to drive her until she dies, so resale value isn't much of a concern at the moment.

Just help the guy out and stop *****ing about what he wants to do with his car.

DaMaz3, I will measure my trunk for you when I get home. Not sure if I can measure the bolt holes without taking off the wing so can't help you there.

Thanks man, I really appreciate it. Finding the measurements online is harder than you might think.

I still say it's a dumb idea, but here you go. First pic is seam to seam. Second is from inner bolt cover to inner bolt cover.

That's perfect, thanks man! And hey lets all be honest, at least it's not an STI wing.

It sounds like the trunks are about the same size. The Evo trunk is pretty flat on top. You could probably make it fit but you might have some ugly gaps on the edges. The wing flairs outwards so it might hide some of it. I guess if you go ahead with it..... post pics lol

Quick fix on that is just get some EVA foam and trim it to size then paint it black. That'd probably work if care was taken. Permanent and forever? Nah, but would fit it better if there is a variance.
