Ecu flush , warranty avoided

Hey guys
my 2015 evo x engine went bad and start knocking
i have a lot aftermarket parts on the car I'm take everything off 😭and put car back to stock , also the car is tuned on e86. My question is if I flush the ecu and take it back to the dealership are they going to find out and avoid my warranty.

Isn’t that morally illegal to do?

Yes, they will be able to see that your car was flashed.

That ecu is a big tattletale for sure! Not to mention the dealer always tries to stick you for a diagnostic fee to hook up the car to scan the cpu. Wonder if you could just go in for oil change since they usually do that 127 point inspection when you do it. Maybe there's a tech that's actually willing to tell you what's going on. Some are real a-holes but some are really cool. I hope you get it back up and running like before if not better man.

The ecu stores a byte counter for how many times it has been reflashed. That counter cannot be changed. Dealer will find out

If you flush the ECU, they will definitely know something is wrong when there's water damage to the unit.

Sorry, I had to.

But yeah, they're gonna know. And they're gonna say "lol sry" and send you on your way. Very slim chance you'll get anything from them. Your best bet is to find a new (used) engine, buy a block brand new, get yours rebuilt, or sell the car as it for a loss. Either way, your pocket will feel it.
