So I did a chat with DDM and searched this forum. DDM is saying a 2015 NEEDS a canbus kit. Their explanation when pressed was "the other 2015s needed it. Its a more advanced computer system that can sense a halogen or hid bulb. Damage can occur without a canbus system". BS?

They said their metal kits (ultra or plus) do not require a ground, relay, or adapters. Correct?

Good to order a 9006 metal ballast, plus kit, with none of the extra stuff (adapter, eliminator, relays)? I have a 2015, without DRLs.

You need to eliminators.... I have a 2015 and i needed them even for my LED fog lights. You will have error codes is you dont add them.

- I don't see an option for eliminators for them??
- did you get the canbus kit or the non?
- and did you ground the kit?

 

(for 1 and 2 ) They call is - Warning Cancelers / Capacitors and yes i got them
No i did not ground them as i didn't need to for the fogs.
My boy just had his lights build for him and there was nothing to ground at all.
