I am the most delighted to learn that the OEM tube can plug right it.

I found the same Bosch AGM battery a while back, but had difficulties sourcing it to Canada. It seems that most inventory are in the US. Next time this will definitely be my #1 choice of Evo's replacement battery.

What do you mean you had to ask for the elbow? Was it not included with the battery?

The guy at Pep Boys didn't know about the elbow, which is odd given that the battery came with a plug that can go in one hole. I stopped by Advance and they had a box of them from their brand of AGM batteries. The guy working there said that his manager removes them when the batteries come in.

Bottom line, they exist, but you have to ask for them.

Called the local Pep Boys and found this battery but the guy on the other end of the line says it's not vented because it's an AGM

I just use the Optima red top, group 35, I don't find a vent too necessary unless using a lead acid battery.
It's $200, but it has the highest CCA of any AGM in group 35. I need it for those -5F starts haha!
AGM batteries do not vent as far as I know.

Found it at my local pep boys and it came with the elbow🤗. Old Panasonic battery lasted 9 years!!!!

I remember when I was trying to find a replacement battery with vent tube last year... frustrating search. I almost went to pep boys which is 25 miles before I just decided to go with a optima yellow top at Advanced Auto. Nice find.

Pretty sure it was discontinued. I couldn’t get my hands on one either. But I got the Advance Auto Parts model that was similar
