Has anyone ever installed a Varex remote controlled muffler? I want to know how to get the wires from the muffler to get inside the vehicle so I can plug it up to my 12v socket. Any ideas or know of any openings in the trunk I can feed wire through?

 

First of all, I cut the flange at the end of the muffler off and welded it onto the cat back portion of the exhaust. The wires are long and I just tucked them up as much as I could as I ran it to the rubber gromet below the passenger side. I pulled the carpet back, ran the wire up through the hole, tucked the rest of the hardware behind the center console/dash and plugged it in. Its simple and straight forward. I loved my Varex.

 

I've been thinking about getting this muffler too. How did you tuck the wires along the flooring? I feel like it would sag or get beaten up my weather conditions/road debris. I'd be interested to find where that rubber grommet is too.
