I just moved to San Diego, CA from the east coast and wanted to know if any one knows of a tune shop around the San Diego area or anything near. I’m assuming most of them are in LA but let me know.

This Gent / Shop was tuning back in the day outside of SD. Things went really sour w/his business but it appears he has attempted to recreate his business.

Just be careful as i dont know anything about his current business / reputation

Make the drive to 5150 racing in CA - known good EVO shop.

Well, if he is willing to come up further, then RRE or even our new shop JRP are worth looking at

I looked up 5150 racing and it’s about 2:30 hours from me. Is there anything closer? I figured LA would have good tune shops. But worse case i’ll drive the 2:30 hours

I've lived in San Diego all my life. Give Road Race Engineering a call and they will take care of you better than any of the current San Diego tuners. If you really want to stick with a tuner in San Diego, people will give you mixed reviews on EVERYONE. You could try Dr. Boost, but I recommend going with RRE or an English Racing remote tune.
