Lug nut with BBS wheels

Hello,
I just bought an Evo x and the previous owner left it pretty much stock, but he bought some BBS wheels and I am pretty sure they are the MR wheels. He put some tuner lugs on them and I am wondering if this is an issue? They fit in there to an extent but im pretty sure there is supposed to be the mag type lug. However if I try to put some mag type lugs in there they dont fit all the way. Is this an issue? I've attached pictures.

First off, welcome aboard EvOM

Yeah, that is a serious mis-fit (60 degree conical tuner nuts / Acorn)

You need the OEM lug (Mag style)

If the Mags are not fitting correctly that can be due to some damage done by the Acorns. You may have to lightly de-burr w/a Dremel to clear the hole. Also, when putting on the Mags, make sure you get them fully seated before torquing. You need to get that lug barrel into the wheel hole on all 5

Thanks a lot, ive been a long time lurker on here, it's a great forum. I figured that's what is going on, ill have to buy some lug nuts for this car. I know people have asked about different lugs in the past for these wheels, so now people can see what it looks like. They have really dug into the wheel there, there is a good lip formed of crushed metal.
