Compression test Evo X MR?

So I'm about to throw on toys on my build and figured I'd go ahead and do a compression test to see how healthy the engine is. Engine warm, pulled ignition coil and fuel pump fuses. Removed all spark plugs, secured tester in spark plug hole, started cranking it over (about 10 times in one sitting) while flooring throttle. Zero, Got another compression tester...zero. I did this for the first two cylinders three times and ran out of time to try the rest. Am I doing something wrong here? Is there some special technique just for MRs? Doesn't make sense at all to me, any suggestions? Never had any problems with anything, just thought to do this for my build.

If the car was running, then a result of zero is highly suspect. It could be the tester isn't sealing in the spark plug hole.

Last night I went out and tried again, zero across all 4 cylinders. Only have one hose so maybe that could be it, going to pick-up a new one today. Thanks, I was nervous the MR had some funky thing that needed to be done since I got those results. Never had this issue on my IX so kind of odd.

Edit: If you're getting these results, just buy a new compression tester. 150,149,150,150, my baby is ready for some new toys!!
