Tires rubbing inside wheel well

Hi guys I have evo x with 18x9.75 wheels with +19 offset . I have coilovers with a moderate drop . I use to have 265/35 tires and had no issues of rubbing what so ever . I recently got a good deal on 265/40 pilot sport tires and put them on . Since then every time I turn it seems the front tires are rubbing on the inside wheel well somewhere . Driving straight and on bumps no problem at all . Do I need spacers for some clearance in the front . Also my wheels are pretty old I was thinking buying a new set . What offset wheels should I be looking for any suggestions . Appreciate it alot . Thanks

It's the height of the tire, 40 is a bit tall. You could form the plastic in the wheel well with a heat gun to gain some more clearance. You don't have much room on the passenger side because of the oil cooler though.
