Hi
Was thinking of fitting a boost gauge to my sons EvoX and wanted to know if people had any recommendations on makes and type of boost gauge(mechanical or electrical)?
Presently I have been considering a Prosport Evo electric boost gauge. They look ok , but not ever having used one I don’t really know.
Regards Peter.
me personally, i am using the AEM Gauges UEGO WideBand & Boost. i have no complaints but i'm switching soon because the 35lb psi version is no longer usable for me. easy install, and they look good with my ortiz guage pods, so i'd check in on those.

I'm running the AEM Boost and Innovate Ethanol Content gauge.
Here's the boost gauge I'm running. 35psi should be plenty considering he doesn't already have a gauge, so hes probably not crazy modified and tuned to the moon. https://www.aemelectronics.com/produ...st-35psi-Gauge
I think these guys ^^^ nailed it. If you ever plan on running an AFR gauge (which you probably will if you mod the car at all) then either get something that matches the AEM UEGO or get one that does both like the Innovate.
I really like the way my Proparts SPE
gauge looks and I really prefer gauges with needles:
Thanks to every one who responded to my question.
Looks like if I put gauges in the car I will go AEM.
Biggest issue for me right now is where best to mount the gauge or gauges.
My favoured option would be to have gauges mounted on the sides of the instrument cluster surround.
However there is a lot of dicking around and expense involved in doing this and not sure if it is worth it as
I have the car professionally tuned on a Dino and don’t play around with trying to tune the car myself.
Regards
Peter.
Can even use your cell phone as a temporary gauges with the Torque app. You just need a bluetooth obd2 reader which you can get on amazon for a decent price. You can also check codes and clear them
