So I’m new into the evo world , and planning on getting my first evo x

i know it’s better to never buy from a dealership but i got no options and as well I’m in need of a new car at the moment lol

anyways i found a evo x 2011 i heard and saw a lot on the forums the best year to get a evo x is from 2011+

so i found a evo x gsr 2011 but has
- 82k miles
- stock engine bay
- 3 previous owners
- price is 24k
- no accidents i checked the car fax and vin so it matches everything

so what I’m asking is , is a evo x with 82k miles worth the price ? Or should i just forget about it and keep looking ? Again 82k seems fine for me but i don’t know about the price what do you guys think ? I mostly average 7-8k a year i only drive weekends and carpool with my co workers for work

Just look around for Xs that have similar miles and see what they go for. Keep in mind that demand is going to be different in other locations which will impact pricing. Xs are slowly creeping up in value so I wouldn't be surprised if 24k is the average for a clean X with that many miles. I don't know, 3 owners seem to be more than I like for a 8 year old car, but then again people change cars like they do clothes these days so I guess I'm no surprised. Good luck on your search.

 

Paid 28.5k Canadian for a one owner Stock 2011 MR with 21k miles (US import car) about 7 months ago
There's a guy locally asking 45K Canadian for a final edition in blue with 5400 kms on it. Its has some ETS stuff on it but basicly stock. I think hes out to lunch but there are some others here in Vancouver BC going for 15k to 30k on craigslist.

If I where you Id get a Canadian Car and bring it across to Seattle. Cant beat a 35% discount!!
Importing back to the USA isnt as hard as people think. Just have to have your papers in order or pay a broker, Usually around 500 bucks
