Prospective buyer for 2011 Evo X

Hey fellas, I'm new here! I made an account because I may be buying a 2011 Evo X MR within the week. First of all, is there anything I should look out for when looking at the car at the dealership? Also, I'm located in Canada but I'll be making a Christmas trip down with my family this week to Las Vegas where I plan to buy the car. Has anyone had really good experience with any Mitsubishi dealers in the LV area? Also, what would you consider a "good deal" OTD for a '11 Evo MR? Has anyone dealt with Steve Broka at Jim Marsh in Las Vegas? Wow, I'm just pounding out these questions haha! I just wanna make it right! Any fellow Canadians with experience importing an Evo from the states?

They probably have the best deals on Evo X's so I'd give them a call

Is there any disadvantage of buying a car in Cali rather than Nevada? I know California is very strict for auto manufacturers, is there any difference in the models in CA compared to elsewhere?

Just so your aware, on the canadian mitsubishi home page it states that mitsu canada will not honor any waranty claims on american bought cars registered in Canada.

I decided that I would buy my gsr for this reason in Canada. By the way I live in edmonton and northside gave me a smokin deal on a 2010 with like 200kms on it. Way under msrp and 0%.

Everything is just so much cheaper in States. Canadian base evo is over 10K more than US. I can't believe how much i paid for my 2010 gsr, at least at that time US price wasnt as low as right now. 34K msrp is already a very good deal to me, 28K is just a killer. For those kinda of prices i honestly wouldnt care about warranty too much, let alone most of us will void it anyways at some point.

Should have researched more. I live in vancouver bc, and last time i went to dealers at Washington, they dont sell to Canadians..., should have gone further south!

I hope you are not planning to drive it back, stock summer tires wont hold up the journey in the winter/snow/mountains.
