Hey everyone, so I finally got my 2015 Evo X FE and I just had a quick question, so forgive me if this is a dumb one...
My FE’s stock front end looks different then some others that I’ve seen... I’m referring to the part right below the front grille... I’ve seen some FE’s where right in the middle of the front bumpers lip it’ll be black... are people just painting it like that? Or is it an attachment?
Hmmm perhaps I wasn’t describing it properly... but how come I’ve seen some Final Editions come like the top picture stock?? and then I’ll see some Final Editions come like the bottom picture stock?? I’m referring to the lower part of the front grille on the bumper. Is this simply a paint job? Or is this a attachment? I’m sure this is such a dumb question... but I haven’t been able to find anything searching on my own. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

That just looks like the aero kit or whatever they called it, it adds a bit more of a protruding lip on the front and you probably have a bit thicker side skirts too. I believe the kit is fully removable if you don't like it.
Ah I see ok... well unfortunately my FE didn’t have the “Aero Kit”... but at least now I’m headed in the right direction... thanks. Now just for clarification purposes the OEM Part that I’m looking for to make my Front End Grille more aggressive like the previous picture is part of the Aero Kit? Because all I’m seeing is for something Mitsubishi calls the Air Dam, Front. (Part Number MZ575845EX) if someone could simply confirm for me that they are indeed the same thing that would be amazing.
Sorry I’m just a little confused because this is always the picture that’s paired with the Part Number or “Aero Kit”.
I’m just not sure why it’s so difficult to find a picture of the thing.....

The more I try to do research on it... the more I end up going back to ground zero... I’m not entirely sure if the Aero package is what I’m looking for... I essentially just want this front end/grille... because my evo is the same exact thing except the lower part of the bumper is white...

Honestly it looks like they replaced it if your car doesn't look like that. Just buy a stock front bumper and have it painted the FE white color. Post up a picture of your car so we can see your bumper vs the stock pictures you have found?
Now, I may be wrong but going back to your second post, the evo on the top is most likely not an FE. first, look at the roof. It’s white. FE’s came with a black aluminum roof (bottom picture). Also, to the bottom one, notice how the side view mirrors have the turn signal on them. FE’s came standard with that. FE’s also came with that chrome trim too. Side note: MR’s also come with that chrome trim around the grill too.
as for the air dam/front lip. Look elsewhere for that like someone above has mentioned. You can get an APR (carbon fiber) for a little less. Along with others. Plenty of options.
