Evo X 2014 MAF sensor replacement
Evo X 2014 MAF sensor replacement
Hello,
I have Evo X 2014 in which the MAF sensor went bad and needs replacement, the part number is MR985187, if I google it under Evo X the price is 400$ and more, while the same same part number and look exactly the same, for Eclips, 2.4 Galant or Rally Art and the price is less than half, mind that they have the same part number. So if I buy the MAF sensor with same part number but shown for Eclips will it work properly?
anyone tried?
I had similar experience with my BMW, the same part number whenever it is labeled Range Rover it was double price but it was exactly the same. So I hope the same goes for Mitsubishi

If the part number match then you should be on a winner.
The 2L NA and 2.4NA have the same MAF part number, the difference is the O ring .
For extra piece of.mind a run a small bead of silicon (sensor safe) round where the MAF joins to the tubs
I install the MAF and screw it down first , then run a small bead of silicon around it
Mitsubishi share parts around the cars quite regularly, this reduce manufacturing costs .
A.lot of parts is also shared with other manufacturers also
