2015 Evo GSR Clutch/Master Cylinder issue
2015 Evo GSR Clutch/Master Cylinder issue
What’s up everyone,
got my ‘15 gsr. Brake light appeared, checked the brake fluid and it was low. Topped it off. All was good for the following week or so.
Brake light appears again, and I completely lose my clutch. I’m aware the brake fluid reservoir is also the fluid to the clutch master cylinder. Fluid was a little low but not empty so I topped it off. Clutch came back about 5 minutes after idling. Looked for visible leaks and not finding any. Clutch has been going in and out since. Drops to the floor where I have to reach under and pull it back with my hand and then the clutch re-engages with no issue after it’s pulled back.
Curious if any other owner has had this issue and would care to share some info?
Much appreciated!

Check around where the clutch pedal pushes by the firewall. If you have fluid there, it's a bad master cylinder. It's not uncommon at all for the Master cylinder to fail on the Evo X.
