hi i just got my 2009 evo x gsr for few months
but some of my friends told me the trunk of my car might crash before
and the glue is a little bit wasnt look like with other evo( its white in color and not flat, is it Beige color normally?)
but my technician told me it is normal cause the glue are apply by hand so it will not flat.
a little bit confuse, here are some pictures of my car.

 

I'm thinking your friends are right. The seam sealer is usually beige and more uniform. That and the appearance of the sheetmetal of the trunk floor looks rough compared to factory.

i just found the other pic of my car after remove the back seat, there are some seal are beige and some of them are white in color.
the metal sheet of the trunk are uniform but the seal is white in color so make me a little confuse. >▪<
