Any ideas on what this plug is for? Its from a 2012 Evo X GSR I dont have anything plugged into it and was curious what its for. Thanks for any answers.

 

The US service manual says "no connection" so I'm guessing that photo is from another market. Connector A-01 (3 wire-gray) (A-59 is 1 wire-black) and none of the other connectors called out in that area are 3 wire.

 

It is USDM so that's just even more confusing

 

I just purchased a new to me 2015 FE and I noticed the same thing. Spent the last 2 hours looking it up.

seems normal? I’m still not 100% sure.

 

Apparently it's for the AUTO leveling headlights, according to someone over in Europe. But not confirmed.
