Lightbulb The New, The Old, and a Question!

I'm trading in my 2012 (white) OS, for this brand-new (metallic brown) 2018 OS Limited Edition. I hate the 'chrome plug' on the 2018's front fenders! It looks like an 'after thought'! Has anyone tried taking out that 'plug, and putting the earlier model side marker lights in? Is the wiring there on the '18? Is it "plug & play"? Does the chrome plug simply 'pop out'? Thanks for your HELP!

Thanks Jono119! The chrome plug just pops out like the side marker lights?

YES.
Your new fender should be the same plastic (flexy) material as the 2012 so it should be super easy to remove the chrome plug by getting your finger nail under the thing and giving it a pull.
