Exclamation Need Help with FE EVO X

Hello I'm having an issue with my 2015 Final Edition Evo where the rpm spikes from 3000 rpm to 5000rpm and stabilizes I'm not sure if its the clutch or transmission going out, it currently has 41000 miles and hoping I could get some help thank you.

Need a bit more context. While idling, while taking off, while cruising?

It turned out to be the clutch, I'm trying to figure out what exactly in the clutch is wrong, but basically while driving and shifting at higher speeds the clutch feels like its trying to grab the next gear but slips, I've noticed it more in 4th to 5th gear but now its starting as early as 3rd to 4th gear. Sorry for a late response.

Thats the textbook case of a slipping clutch. It just means that it is worn out; at 41k miles, it is likely from someone slipping the clutch a lot while driving. Even then, thats a lot of wear for 41k miles but not unheard of.

It happens in the higher gears more easily because of the gear ratios. If its happening in 3/4 while you aren't hammering it, it needs to get changed out sooner rather than later.
