Rear differential gear ratio

Does anyone know what is a gear ratio for rear differential Evo X and Ralliart? I know evo 8 has 3.307 rear diff but I am wondering if evo x and ralliart has the same? Thanks!

Ralliart rear diff is the same as the Evo 8. The gear ratio of the ring to the pinion gear is 43/13 = 3.307.

The gear ratio for the rear differential of the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X is 3.538. For the Ralliart, the ratio is usually 3.307, similar to the Evo 8. So, if you're looking to compare these models, the Evo X has a different ratio, which can affect the dynamic behavior of the car. Be sure to take this into account if you're considering any modifications or part swaps.

Thanks for reply. So now I have even more questions hehe. So if evo x rear diff ratio is 3.538 and ralliart or evo 8 is 3.307 how people installing ralliart differential to evo x if gear ratio is different??? I am not doing this I am just wondering. What I am doing is installing ralliart differential into evo 8. They have the same gear ratio is that correct? Thanks!!!

The rear diff gear ratio in the Mitsubishi AWD system is not what determines the final drive gear ratio. The AWD system is 50/50 front and rear and the final drive gear is what changes the driving experience. The final drive gear is the ring gear on the Center diff in the transmission. Its possible to use the Evo X AYC rear differential in an Evo 8 as well. JDM Evo 4-9 were built with AYC from the factory. There is nothing new about this.

Thanks! I understand that the final gear is in transmission but I was always thinking that the rear diff need to match the front? Like for example you can't install 2 front tires with different size and 2 rear with different size. Does this don't matter with rear differential???? So basically I can install whatever I want as a rear differential? Thanks!

Evo scan has the service manuals and says the rear is still 3.307. Granted it’s the 2010 service manual, but I doubt they changed it mid run.

The transfer assembly is what pushes the drive shaft and that has a .302 ratio which is the reverse is the 3.307. Ring gear Mounts direct into the front LSD. Same amount of gear teeth as the rear just different order.
