Question about Kosmic

I know kosmic is a popular evo shop but is it fairly priced as i know specialist shops can sometimes jack up the price just cuz they can, i have codes P0219 P1874 and P1873 all showing and the guy i emailed said it might be 7k to 10k and im really not trying to pay that much its really making me consider dropping the car completely but i just wanted some advice

try to research on here first. that sounds like SST issues so maybe they know what needs work/maintenance
pricing wise, yeah they can get expensive now. I bet they put cars on appt depending on profit(?)
I personally dont like their "pre-dyno" (even pre-oil change) check up costs. tuning wise, i've been disappointed, was expensive tuning session too

For SST stuff definitely Kozmic is probably the best option.
so with kozmic they check over the whole car, documents and make recommendations and take pics, aka pre-dyno check. i was told some people were being bugged to get checks done even for a mere oil change. that just adds a whole lot to the cost and scheduling/time. I asked and was told previous checks are valid for 5mos IIRC. every shop has their tricks. sometimes its best to ship and install the parts yourself

i definitely agree that doing the stuff yourself is the cheapest and best way to do it but i am far from being comfortable doing tranny work on my own. Thanks for the information and advice
