side note :: dont do your tails with the stain glass paint just because.

I have met people who did their head lights yellow and it was a pain in the *** for them to take it off, one evo owner even had like foggy head lights after he took it off and basically made his head lights look really bad so if you wanna tin your tail lights I say use the tint material people use I dont know what material because I am not a fan of tinting the heads or the tails so I never searched for the info.

Just finished mine this morning, I'll put some night shots up once it gets dark. I did 3 coats of Krylon Stained Glass Yellow.

On a side note: for the painting noobs out there (me): I did manage to get a little bit of spray onto the the front aero trim. I wiped it off and there was a foggy residue left over. I was pretty upset about it because it wouldn't come off and I didn't want to use paint thinner. Turns out that if you have the automotive bug and tar remover - use some of that as quick as possible. I think mine's a generic brand from Autozone but it did the trick and looks flawless. Just a tip - just for a second

o crap i forgot about the resadue part,

it happened to me also only on the evo though, I just grabbed an old shirt from my garage and put some "goof off" and rubbed it right off, not strong enough to do any damage but dont use too much, it comes right off.

I just went to michaels and of course they were out of the red... I have to go back thursday. I changed my drive lights to red, my turn signals to white, and I want red fogs!! I wish I could have everything on at once...

Soooo, I'm an idiot... I am going to redo better tomorrow at the shop. I put to heavy a coat of paint and it looks like I am going to have to take the fogs off to get all the way around the edges. Anyone have a problem with the light going through around the sides..?

On a positive note I did the side marker lights and they look awesome! I would suggest popping those off and painting them. Good luck to anyone else who trys this out. Learn from my mistakes and idiotness. LIGHT COATS, FULL COVERAGE!
