I'm gonna get the nisei uicp, stealth ftmfw! I'm thinking of making a top cover with slots on them and see if it breathes any better. will probably suck in hot air though.

I thought about removing that padding as well but never did it....I'll have to give it a try now....BTW JoeyM3 the Nisei intake pipe re-routes the bov position right??? I think I may have to get that myself....looks much cleaner that way IMO. How much did you get it for, if you dont mind me asking. I looked at Nisei's site but they dont have a price for just the intake pipe itself...thanks.

Old bump, but yup, I did. They said we had many people install w/o issue. I ended up just going to Kragen and picking up some extra tubes to save some time/headaches. It's like .49/ft. The thing that pissed me off the most was that it was on my second time installing (first time missing 2 alum adaptors). The intake is still chilling there waitng for a 3rd install.

Too big as in diameter or length?

Mine was the right length and diameter. Nice and tight.

Yes the instructions could use some improvement.

If you have one vacuum line off the AEM turbo inlet tube that's not being used, then yes it's not hooked up right.

You have two lines off the stock boost control unit that connect into one line, which then connects to the stock turbo inlet tube. The AEM intake requires you to separate those two boost lines, and then connect each one separately to the two AEM lines off their turbo inlet tube.

BTW, foam insulation makes the connections more air tight on the air box.

Too big in diameter. It doesnt really matter, I just went and bought two feet of the right diameter and cut it to length. Just thought that for the amount paid for the product I should have all the parts correct and includedThanks tho.

I solve it, it was a vacum leak from hose to BPV. I tighten the 2 clams and I got a smaller diameter hose and problem solved no more fluttering noise.
