I still have perfect reception with the Sirius. It came in perfect earlier today.

I have the Perrin 4" and 2" (They sent me the 4" by accident when I ordered the 2"). The four inch is just over 3" long. The 2" is just under 2" long.

I Have had both on my car and prefer the stubby look of the 2" but the 4" still looks 100X better than stock or just cutting the stock antenna. They are quality pieces as well, very sturdy. They feel as though they are made out of aluminum, and once screwed on they are actually kind of a pain to take back off as I found out.

I have the Navi on my GSR and I noticed no degradation in reception, If anything it is better than before.

If I am not mistaken the Sirius satellite antenna is built into the bigger puck style base that comes with the SSS package, and reception isn't affected by the changing or even the exclusion of the screw on antenna.

Yup that's the one, just be sure to select your preferred size and you are good to go. The is cool that they changed the sizing to 3" since it is more accurate.

You can't go wrong with either one, on a side note, I work for a automated car wash company and I have put my car through many, many times with both antennas on and no problems. The stocker looked as if I would need to be taken off as it is quite flexible.

I'm debating if I should get the Perrin. Can you guys tell me why you bought Perrin over other stubby antenna? Is the reception a lot better than the competition ones?

For example I can buy shorty antenna cheaper at http://www.stubbyantenna.com

The Perrin shorty has the best fitment by far, it's not even arguable. Haven't had any reception problems with the navi or Sirius. Not sure about the radio reception though, as I never listen to the radio.

I think most of us purchased it because of the fitment which is second to none and looks like it should have come with the car. It actually looks more stock than the stock antenna which says a lot about its simple design. It is also inexpensive for the quality that it exudes. It feels heavy for its size and function.
