BLOX Racing Counter Weighted 5-speed Shift Knob

Here are pix of install how-to:

Step 1: After removing the ugly factory shift knob, the first thing to do is put on the locking washer provided by the BLOX Racing shift knob.

Step 2: Screw the shift knob all the way down

Step 3: Use a 14mm open end to tighten the locking washer. Tighten the lock washer counter-clock wise.

Step 4: Make sure you align it straight. Don't over torque it though!

Step 5: Viola!! EASY as 1-2-3

How does it shift compared to the stock shift knob?

I can definitely feel a difference w/ the added weight, it makes the shifting more precise. I am waiting on the BLOX front engine roll stopper for the X to be released as well

Had that on my IX and couldn't be happier!

Looks great, I want one.

Has anyone upgraded the stock evo aluminum knob to this one and noticed a difference?

the BLOX knob is HELLA heavy, which makes it really nice. I have in my X. The Blue color is Speed Element exclusive, btw.

Just installed mine. I really had to tighten the locking nut down in order to turn the shift knob enough so it was lined up. But love how it changes the shifting and turned what use to be notchy it into 100% awesomeness lol. Give it a ten out of ten in terms of price and performance.

I have the ExtremePSI shift knob (which is very heavy) and it doesn't really shift better; but it feels better as you pull down into second. The added weight is very nice! It is very hard to describe. It is the same notchy feel, but the added weight makes it much less noticeable...but when you baby it, it still won't go in second smoothly.
