I installed both units behind the Head Unit. I don't think either piece should be placed under the hood

I think there also might be some room for it behind the glove box. Behind the glovebox is also where the Sirius module is docked in the SSS/Tech Pkg cars.

Has anyone done the CAMP 2 install with the MMCS navi using the AUX inputs.

Would like to get the CAMP 2 unit but don't want to get it untill I figure out how to get the AUX to display video in motion.

yeah the MMCS unit is the same as the outlander so there is an imput for the OEM backup cam from the outlater, a couple of people have installed it there is a detailed how to in the HOW to section...

the backup camera works when you put the car in reverse...

how do you get the camera input to engage during forward motion?

i'm using a kenwood aftermarket headunit.

in fact i have a splitter that send the camp 2 video to the reverse camera and external av in.

so when i want camp 2 + music i switch to reverse cam mode and when i want camp 2 + camp 2 sound i select AV in on the head unit.

works for me!
