I just got this delivered, but it's not fitting. I have navigation... does that make a difference?

damn, i ordered the same thing.. it says nothing about there being a difference (although i was told the apr vortex generator they carry would fit also, and it doesnt, plus it blocks the nav antenna from working...)
ill let you know monday if mine works

The APR VG doesn't fit? I just ordered that and the person I talked to said that it does.

WTF?

Nevermind. You just have to take the screw out, screw it into the hole in the car, and then screw on the antenna.

ill keep that in mind

as for the vg. i placed it on, everything seemed cool. when i tacked it down (from the front to the back, as stated in the instructions) the front part around the antenna popped up, i practically layed on it for 5 minutes, with no luck.

so after giving up, i jumped in the car to go to work, no sirius. it just kept cutting in and out like i was going under an overpass/trees.

lol that gap is horrible, go with the perrin one, no gap. and the vg does not stop the nav from working, the nav antenna isn't even on the antenna base it's under the dash lol. . . .

shoulda just taken your sisters wrx antenna, it would probably have fit better

joeym3 - sirius stopped working and the nav screen and directions were refreshing almost as if it were on a dial up modem.

cut the piece off... and all is well. so the base of the antenna 100% effects both things.

lol i've had this piece for probably 4 months and i have not had any problems with my nav, the nav antenna is on the actual nav so i don't understand how this would affect the nav at all, no reason for there to be 2 antennas. check antics22 nav install, nowhere does he replace the antenna base. i don't listen to sirius so i can't comment on that. but my nav works perfectly fine, it doesn't make sense that a piece of cf will block a signal when metal has no affect.

I don't mind the gap. It doesn't really bother me.
