I'll look into it, thank you for the input.

Like I said, I'm fine with about 80% of the sequence of steps. The remainder 20% that I am asking here about really are about the fluid mixing issues and if there is anything special we need to do that is not mentioned inthat article I posted. Thank you for correcting me on the Oil/Fluid thing BTW.

The order that migs647 posted is different than the article. It's very likely the older is different for the Evo 8 vs 10. I would check the factory service manual to be sure.

Actually I posted the wrong order . That is the article I used when I did my job about 5 months ago. Had it in memory wrong . Corrected my post.

Bleed order

2. Passenger's side rear inside nipple
3. Driver's side front outside nipple
4. Driver's side front inside nipple
5. Driver's side rear outside nipple
6. Driver's side rear inside nipple
7. Passenger's side front outside nipple
8. Passenger's side front inside nipple

Glad to hear that you took my previous post exactly the way I intended. Just looking out for a fellow Evo dude

To your question about mixing fluids, don't worry about it. It's best if you can get an automatic brake bleeder or have someone help you. You'll begin bleeding the brakes (in the order posted) and as soon as the reservoir is low, then you begin adding fluid...and then just continue adding it until you're all done. That's really the best you can do. Good luck

^^ Yeah, that's exactly what that article had, I'll double check with the manual anyway just in case.

That's what I was thinking. Thank you for confirming.

I just checked the evo x service manual, and the order is DIFFERENT than previous evos. The evo x order should be driver rear, passenger front, passenger rear, driver front. So basically the driver and passenger sides are switched. For each corner, you still bleed the outer nipple and then the inner nipple.
