You removing your FMIC and exhaust as well? Considering what I went through to get all of the parts on to the car, I couldn't imagine doing that.

my dealer was the same way... i had to get a faulty maf replaced, and they wouldnt work on it unless i took everything back to stock.

they were just giving me a hard time knowingly that non of my mods caused a maf failure... i had stock intake at the time.

I'm going to treat my car as if it doesn't have a warranty--take it to my local shop and only bring it to the dealer if it is electrical or complicated. I know I'll have to pay for everything.

A MAF wouldn't cost enough for me to spend 2-3 days taking my car back to stock (assuming I had kept all of the parts, which I didn't...I live in a condo with no room to be starting an auto-parts store in my hallway).

I have a garage to work with and i think the maf is $200-300 from the dealer. I'm not about to pay for a faulty piece.

also i didnt have that much mods back then either... UICP and exhaust.

Now i have a bigger turbo and all bolt ons, i'm to scared to even bring it in for the free oil changes they been giving me or the recalls thats been out.
