You mean the wires that are on the passenger side and run across the valve cover or are you talking about putting more wires under there?

If you mean the ones that run across the valve cover, extend them about 8 inches and run them down the side of the engine where the belts are. Just wrap them in some heat insulating tape.

Happen to know the gauge of those wires by chance? I'm going to extend them shortly and get started on a tuck... I hope I don't go all out and tuck everything I see.

Does extending the wires simply involve soldering and wrapping them again?

LOL, I knew what you meant. I beleive they are 16 or 18 ga. As soon as I get my car back from my new turbo/tube exhaust manifold (19 Mar), I will take some pics and attempt to reconstruct the "how to" if someone else doesn't beat me to it.

BTW,It broke my heart to take the injector wires out of the tape to re-wrap them. I was thinking what did I just get myself into. But take your time and get the injector wires to lay flat where you want them, I put mine under the fuel rail, then once you get the whole harness made, extend the two that go over the top of the valve cover. If you wanted to get crazy you could shorten the injector wires as well, but I just looped them back on themselves and taped them back up.

Good tips, I'll likely use 16 gauge as any electrically inclined people know adding any length of wire will every-so-slightly change the resistance of the circuit and even though it's sooo minimal, it's less of a difference adding a length of thick wire than adding the same length of thin wire. Splitting hairs at that point but it counts as a little peace of mind I guess

I will not cut the injector wires shorter because it's just not worth it, I'll do what you did.
