how to remove front bumper emblem.

I want to remove the emblem on the front bumper to paint it properly.

How do I do this?!?!

Do I have to remove all the front bumper just to get the emblem?!?!

The chrome emblem is held on by emblem tape. You can get it off without taking off the front bumper, it'd pretty much be the same either way.

You can use a small pry tool or a tiny flathead, but you'll easily damage the plastic around it. If you can fish some dental floss in and use a hair dryer that would be the easiest to avoid damage.

Why don't you try covering it with vinyl instead?

I used vinyl for mine..came out pretty nice and cost almost nothing. Just be careful when cutting around the emblem.

I took mine off by gently drilling the rear without going through the symbol. I then gently pushed it outwards with a screw driver after I warmed it up with a hair dryer.

No chips, no scratches, perfect condition.

just heat it up with a hair dryer n when it gets hot enough slowly n gently pry it out while blowing it and careful while prying dont scratch the emblem. will be a good idea to wrap a cloth around the flat head.

and to put it back i used 3m tape and works like a charm but of course remove the access after u take it out.

i think it should work the same for the rear emblem. will try it soon.

yeah but how do you completely take it off? I mean I have an idea on how I plan on doing it but I was hoping to see a picture tutorial of the process. Like dremel the whole thing off.
