Good morning Fellas,

I wanted to take my front SSS OEM lip off to fix the rubber lining at the bottom. But I noticed that the SSS lip is mounted on with these rivet looking screws along with a few standard 10mm bolts. The "rivet looking screws" have triangular opening at the cap of the screws.

Does anyone know where I can get the tool to unscrew these "rivet looking screws" with?

r u referring to the aero lip? i have the SSS package but only have the thin black lip whereas in your pic it shows the oem aero kit lip.

 

yes, the actual oem aero lip. I scraped the "thin black rubber lip" and part of it is hanging off. I want to remove the entire aero lip to work on it.

 

ive had my clip off and almost attempted this but im waiting for someone to make a DIY lol in for answers

 

This doesn't help much, but if my rubber thingy ever starts pulling off I'll probably just yank the whole thing off and replace it with a front splitter... one company that I'm aware of makes a splitter specifically for the factory aero kit front lip.

 

I had the same issue with the little tabs popping out of it, i bought a new ones and just pushed them in with out removing anything, i also added new stripping to the top portion and its holding up well
