Where to?

I am getting ready to install some lowering springs. what i cant seem to figure out is where do you actually put those rubber pieces on the springs?

i have seen some put them only at the bottom with some intervals in between. seen some put them around once on top and another on the bottom.

just wanting to get a more concrete answer, and thanks for the help.

are you talking about the part that goes on the coils so they don't rub together? if so they go on the coils that are closer together

yes. the fronts are pretty obvious. i inspected it and the black plastic is actually "glued" to the 2nd row from the bottom. its the rear that i am kinda in a quandry. it does make sense that they go on coils that are closer together but i have seen some put it on the first row on the bottom and skip a couple then another one goes over. i have also seen some skip the first row and put the first rubber on the second row and then skip a couple then put another one onto it. hmm i think i might just follow the fronts. will skip the first row from the bottom.
