Does anyone know what kind of vinyl that people use to wrap their rims and so forth? I saw a video on youtube where a guy is doing this but I want to purchase the vinyl sheets to black out the from of my 08 GTS... Any advice helps!

Personally, I don't think vinyl will hold up that great on wheels.

Get them powdercoated.. or if you just want something cheap & temporary, then plastidip them.

 

Not using it on rims. Was going to black out my front grill with it... the questions was what it was called or where to get it?

 

Oh.. plastidip spray also works well for blacking out chrome pieces, as well.

I've seen the vinyl-wrapped wheels on youtube, and just thought they were using regular automotive-grade adhesive-backed 3M vinyl wrap.
