not all kits will work on some vehicles, especially if you don't want to interfere with your cars computer, if you want a high quality kit these are the best here -> http://www.lighting-led-hid.com/hid/...e-hid-kit.html

I also have DDM Tuning's 55W 5000k. They buzz a little if you don't mind. The price is pretty good and they have a lifetime warranty. So far it's not that bad. It takes about a 30 seconds to turn to it's actual white color. It starts off dim and bluish and slowly becomes more white.

Yes...The cheaper ballasts will buzz and the older ballasts take a long time to start up. The life time warranty is purely a marketing gimmick. You won't have your car for a "lifetime", and you will be lucky if they last 5yrs, I personally think it is a miss leading as they know you are going to sell the car within a few years. Yo can read up more on ballasts here -> http://www.lighting-led-hid.com/hid/...-ballasts.html

You should not need adapters etc... it should be plug and play if they are H11. The kits should come with brackets and H11 connectors on the bulbs, you only need error eliminator if a warning light comes on your dash to tell you there is a bulb out, this means your system is "Can-Bus". You can actually buy Can-Bus kits if you are not sure. These ones here are can-bus compatible and come with everything you need. The ballasts have a 5yr warranty now -> http://www.lighting-led-hid.com/hid/...e-hid-kit.html

My 2013 non-SSS GSR doesn't have DRLs. Can I simply get an HID kit and install it without having any flickering issues? I've been doing some research and somehow always leads to me needing to get some kind of DRL module(?). PLEASE HELP.

If you don't have DRL there shouldn't be any flickering issues.

Is it ok to run 55w HIDs for my headlights? I had them on my mustang and never had a problem. Just wondering if its gonna be ok to have them on my Evo.

55w is ok for high beam, a bit bright for low beam though, 35w for low beam is bright enough. There is more info here -> http://www.lighting-led-hid.com/index.php/faq

I got the HIDs in today. Picked them up from DDM. I just used my old 55w ballasts that I had on my stang so I ended up just buying the 9006 bulbs then a 35w H11 kit. Cost me around $48 for everything. I can't wait till it gets darker outside! :lol

Changed my headlight ballasts from 55w to 35w... I think 55ws are too bright. We'll see how these 35ws look at night.
