You're using real lacquer paint, right? Not bomb can? You can shoot basecoat right over 320...then shoot your clear right over that...and if you used a red scuff pad, that's 320 grit, the greys are ~600.

Looks clean. Good idea for those that want something a little more clean and hate "chrome" but don't want to remove emblems completely. Turned out great! Nice work.
