Wax on wax off (modding unbolt question)

A purely rhetorical conversation: what if someone was attempting to game the system, a system that actually plays on TBD actions…the system being that that if you mod your evo your warranty is void, the evil play on that system by the system creator is providing a bolt on ready car that off the shelf is far in arrears of its capabilities thereby most if not all buyers will mod to meet the actual potential and the provider will no longer have to meet her warrantee responsibilities.

With that in mind what if some unsavory character buys the new car and decides to bolt on stuff and figures that if something goes wrong and warrantee repair could be a savior, she could bolt the stock stuff back on,reflash the box and take it in for repair. which mods would such an unsavory character find to be be rewarding and easy?

For instance if said person could exchange for saved bolt on stock parts in a one day effort all the mods prior to warranty repair which ones are so easy and worth the effort….keep in mind the unsavory character in question will explore full moding at somepoint but may try to resist the urge based on warrantee and for this enquiry is intersted in mods that culminated could be reversed in one days work by a solo not so fast layperson

· ecu flash pieceof cake

· intake pieceof cake

· cat back pieceof cake

· high fow cat pieceof cake

· boost solenoid piece of cake

· other worthwhile easy to reverse mods include? Pleasecontribute knowledge here_______

Specific question driving this enquiry….Down pipe includingO2 housing?…. How hard? Mixed reviews on difficulty of installation and value added gains sans turbo change…should the unsavory character in question wait until a turbo change for this option or is it not a big deal…looking at the AMS widemouth downpipe and the Tomei two piece FYI

Thanks in advance for you rhetorical comments

decided to wait on the down pipe including O2 housing, from what I've read it's not a real easy job.
thing I was reading was discussing standing in the engine bay...etc, not easy etc

I'll probably wait a bit and do a header, turbo upgrade and downpipe with O2 housing in one fell swoop after the warranty is shot or I just can't stand it any longer

O2 housing isn't that hard to change if you have a few free hours and tools. That is unless a bolt or stud breaks.
