- Do you want to drive a stick shift or automatic?
GSR are a little cheaper just because its a manual transmission.
- Do you plan to mod the vehicle? SST (MR) can only do so much and can't hold too much
torque not like its counterpart.
- Ill say maintenance is probably a little bit more on the MR since it has automatic transmission and
you just cant really open it up if you run in any problem that is tranny related. Engine and body
wise should be the same.

Thanks for reply like the automatic but don’t know how good it is.
Yes in the future like to upgrades the ECU, suspension see to be much better in the MR right?
I only drove the MR need to test drive the GSR.

They'll perform very similarly stock, though the MR tends to be marketed as a more premium variant, with it lacking the big wing but having a fancier transmission and some nicer interior options, if you're inclined to want a little more inside.
If you plan on staying stock, then you're fine either way... and if you don't mind paying more for the nicer amenities of the MR, then go that route. If you plan on actually modding and/or going to the track, then both have their strengths and weaknesses. The GSR's five-speed manual transmission can put up with more abuse, which is more crucial when you are really adding on more power well above stock levels. But if you're staying pretty close to stock, then the MR would be fine too... also take note of the fact that most publications used the Evos with the dual clutch transmissions, and they generally gave it very good reviews since it was nice to use and yielded really good lap times.
Maintenance is going to be similar to maintaining other older Evos, except you don't need to do the timing belt every 60k (since the Evo X started using a timing chain), though that service is only done once every five or six years anyway. However, if you get an MR, the services that occur every 15k where the transmission/different fluids are replaced, that one typically costs a little bit more than it would for the GSR. I never really cared for a quote since it didn't affect me, but at some places nearby, I noticed the MR service was usually about $150-200 higher than the standard GSR service due to the transmission.

Did you purchase it all ready?
If not I say go with the GSR. I bought mine last year and It's amazing. Again, it all depends if you want an automatic car or a stick shift car. Maintenance is kinda similar.
