Okay guy talk Artisan performance about their Street Assassin Turbo for Evo x. Everything sounds too good to be true about this Turbo. You send your turbo in and they rebuild it to their specs. Here something on them about their turbo.

“The SA50 has been dyno proven to put down over 450whp on pump gas and propel a full weight EVO X to high 11 sec time slips at the track.
The SA50 is a 100% direct replacement for you stock EVO X turbo providing a 35% increase in overall volume.
Turbo Features:
  • Housing: MHI 12cm
  • Compressor Wheel: 50mm
  • Turbine Wheel: TD05H
  • Compressor Cover: MHI/Artisan Spec
  • WHP:475-500
  • Max Boost: 30-35psi
  • MISC: 360 Thrust bearing”
They said sending in your turbo would cost$ 550-$560 (forgot witch one) to do this and another $175 WGA upgrade. I mean Sh*t that’s great deal! Has anyone done this yet? I’m thinking about going this route after my FMIC kit gets here. I just got to hide my car from the wife!!!LOL. I like to hear your guys input on this matter. Thanks!!!

seems like a serious turbo.. i'd just like to see the area under the curve.. the 4b11t seems to lack in the higher rpm's on stock frame turbos

Yea would like to see some dyno sheets or proof of these claims. Sounds good if it's true. Another good option anyway.

I figure that it is my responsibility to step in here and post some information about our turbo.

As far as the youtube links, this one is the best. It is a video of one of our happy customers. If you plan on being at SEMA this year, you can come by and see the car personally, by the way, we made it a two door.

And here is the dyno chart.

Yes. We are still upgrading turbos as well at $550 per. They start out the same either way. Brand new or used the process is the same.
